Fayette Flyers Meeting Minutes for May 31, 2007
Meeting Location: At the Field Members present: 11
Start Time: 7:06p.m. Member guests/applicants: 1 (Joe Ricciardi and son Zach)
Officer Reports:
TREASURER – David Keller went over the Treasurer Report which included SEFF Expenses.
SECRETARY – Ernie Schlumberger reported the club has 51 members and 1 member applicant.
VICE PRESIDENT – Randy Hawkins said the key to the box holding the DB meter to measure and record sound recordings is in the shed on right side. Club Member, Steve Kubit had 2 planes fail last month. So he bought 2 muffler “Extensions” from www.FLYQUIET.com and both planes now pass and are much quieter with no loss of power. Gas Flying is from 10am – 4pm once your plane is checked and recorded in the book. Two (2) Gas Planes in air at a time.
President – Tommy Vinci said the land next to our field has been sold but we don’t anticipate any sub divisions to be built. They plan to raise horses.
New Business:
Randy brought up the name of the person who made the Software used at SEFF registration/impound. He put in many hours of work and could the club compensate him like a SEFF worker. There were no objections.
Randy brought up putting in a drainage pipe at the South end (right side) of runway and then fill it in to give a run off area that is flat. The motion was seconded and passed.
Tom Huckaby brought up Field Rules/By Laws about flying times versus website to update website. David Keller made motion to remove reference from the Bylaws and only have the times on website. The motion was seconded and passed. Also the website will be updated with officer contact info.

Joe Ricciardi and son Zachary were voted in as Fayette Flyers. They have been training and flying with club member Craig McKeand.
