Meeting Minutes

     The meeting was called to order at 7:36PM.
There were 6 members present and no guests or applicants.

Officer Reports :
Secretary - Membership is currently 59 members with a total of 66 flyers.
Nothing else to note.

Treasurer - Absent.

President - Absent.

Vice Pres. - The search for a new/better flying facility needs to be stepped up.
The general membership is urged to become more active in the search.

SEFF Update :
Jeff Meyers is soliciting opinions on the idea to move SEFF to
Memorial Day weekend. He is mainly looking to see what the general
tone of the responses are and the dates are not set in stone yet.
So far vendor feedback has been good, but the possibility of school
graduations getting in the way needs to be looked at.
Jeff talked to the pager supplier and looked into bumping the number
of pagers from 50 to 70 for the next SEFF.

Old Business :
Trying to organize a club fun fly/cookout for the second Saturday in
August.
The Georgia Jets facility is still not up to hosting the SEFF event.
There is not enough pit area.

New Business :
None

Broken Prop Award :
Two ground dorks, no winners.
Ernie popped a motor off at the meeting.
Jeff snapped off his gear at the meeting.
