Fayette Flyers Meeting Minutes for July 23, 2009

    Officer Reports: 

Treasurer report- David Keller went over the financial report for June and ran meeting.

Vice President-Ernie Schlumberger WAS at the NATS

Secretary-Randy Hawkins   Nothing new on web, membership is at 60.

President-Tommy Vinci-  Had to work could not attend.

 Old Business: Still need doors put on new shed. Sand runway and do some grooming

   Reminder to turn keys off when not on tractors to prevent battery rundown. We will make a sign to remind. Added link to school meeting room location to web site.

 New Business:  We discussed the idea of the paper felt runway. More info is needed for more discussion,.concerns are removal, ants like at old Cathy field  etc.

Dave Keller anounced the new "Triple Tree" model event coming to Joe Nall for electric sailplanes, hand launch and aero tow. This new event is dedicated to Dave's father, and is planned for the end of October, Holloween weekend. More to come.
