Fayette Flyers Meeting Minutes for February 19, 2009

    Officer Reports: 

Treasurer report- David Keller went over the financial report for January and February.

Vice President-Ernie Schlumberger filled in for the Secretary and reported that there are 49 members currently paid up for 2009.

Secretary-Randy Hawkins could not make the meeting due to work.

President-Tommy Vinci- said that SEFF is coming up on April 30-May 3^rd this year.  He also said that the Perry swap meet is next week on March 6-7.

 Old Business: We discussed the location of the new shed that we have bought and is now located at the field in a large box waiting to be erected.  After some discussion, it was agreed upon to install it next to the porta-potty.

    Tommy said that he contacted Bob Barnard (club contact with Fayette County) to get with the county people to see where we stand with obtaining the county landfill as a new field.

 New Business:  We discussed the scheduled work day on Feb. 21^st and decided to wait for better weather and push it back until Saturday March 14^th.  We will try to get the platform built by then so we can also build the shed.  If any club members have contacts with landscaping services, we need some river sand setup to be delivered and or spread on our runway on the workday.
