April 22nd - April 25th , 2010
Americus, Georgia

The Fayette Flyers of Atlanta, Georgia are pleased to announce America's premiere electric flight festival.  Our host field will be at Mac Hodges' field.  This field features a flat green 1,700 ft. Bermuda grass runway and wide open skies.  Pit area and parking are abundant for all.  Additionally, Mac's field features a full service, air conditioned hobby shop right off the flight line.

You should expect to see all aspects of electric flight: sport planes, hotliners, parkflyers, 3D, giant scale, slowflyers, gliders, pylon, ducted fan jets, helicopters, scale, F5B etc.

This event is primarily open flying.  There will be some flying demonstrations by accomplished e-flight enthusiasts / sponsors and show teams. Vendors will be exhibiting their products, conducting demo flights and releasing new models.

SEFF EXTREME SPEED

Twice a day we are going to have a half hour of speed in the sport plane section. This will be open to planes 100 mph and faster! It will be at 1130 and 1730 each day. One catch, we will have a trial period on Thursday 1730 and Friday 1130. If we don't get enough participation, we will cancel the slot. Just won't shut down open flying if not enough pilots want to fly.

1, All pilots will get a briefing as to rules for extreme speed.

2, Flight path will be altered to make sure we have more separation with the crowd.

3, You will need to be at the flight line, get a briefing, and be ready to GO when the slot opens.

SEFF Ultimate Destruction Combat

When:  Right after noon demos at show center

Any air worthy plane can fly in the event.
The limit on battery will be a 2 or 3 cell with 1320mAh Max.

Start the horn with full contact, as your out step back away from the flight line, when plane/pilot count gets to 6, I will have 6 judges ready to step up assigned to each pilot to start counting impacts upon a second horn sound for the final 2 minute countdown, Any model(s) involved in an impact hitter/hitty scores a point via judges official tally not pilots. Both or multiple planes score per impact. The winner would be declared by most impacts. In case of tie draw straws from clenched fist for shortest.

This is like a qualify heat with a final all in one, then ultimate luck if your skills are equal. This format should limit duration as well as purpose built duration models with no maneuverability or combat skills strictly entering on luck.

• For consideration of others, they must meet the following noise level criteria:
o Maintain a maximum sound level of 65 Db under full load.
o We will have a calibrated meter and can / will take the reading 10 feet from the unit.

Camping at SEFF

• We are not a campground. We are an RC event that allows RV’s to park in the parking lot.
• We will pack RV’s / Campers as reasonably close as possible to make space for everyone.
• No RV’s will be parked on the first row of pit area. This is no different than last year.
• We ask that you shut down your RV generator’s from 10 pm to 7 am. We are not going to make this a rule…just a request for those that can do so.
• If your RV utilizes a diesel generator, we ask that you use an exhaust pipe extension to help reduce noxious fumes to those around you. We are not requiring this...but may have to if it becomes a bigger problem. If you do not have an extension…..you should ask the RV host to park you away from the more dense areas.

1.  Spots with electrical hookups:

There are a limited number of electrical hookups for RV's available right in the pit area.  However, you must contact Mac Hodges (property owner) to reserve a spot.  There is a small fee to use the hookups. You can get more information by calling Mac at (866)924-9505  Pilot's RV's will get first priority on the property. If you have a space reserved with Mac Hodges that has hookups…you won’t have to pay the $30 RV parking fee listed below.

2.  Spots with no hookups:  (just a parking space)

RV parking pass details:
The fee is $30 and covers the entire weekend.
Pilots with RV’s will need to pay the $30 RV parking fee and the pilot registration fee of $30.
Spectator’s with RV’s will need to pay the $30 RV parking fee and this will cover parking and admissions for the entire weekend.
There are no hookups with this pass. You must contact Hodges Hobbies about hookups….but we can tell you they are already sold out if you did not get a spot last year.
You will be directed to the available parking areas for RV’s when you get to the field.
You will receive a special RV parking pass that needs to be displayed on the driver side windshield. The pass will be emailed to you right before the event.
